Angela Aparicio Blackburn, DJ, producer, economist. Founder and leader of Cultura en Vivo Barcelona, a community and cultural production platform that promotes, dignifies and strengthens Afrolatin richness. An active participant in projects with the Catalan Music Academy, ConCa and other institutions, with the mission of incorporating an intercultural perspective and defending the cultural rights of migrant communities.
Through my musical project MetralletaDj, I travel across festivals, venues, events and dancefloors, blending rhythms from the Global South and bringing together people from all generations and cultures. At WIMEN, I’m responsible for production, hospitality, and I also contribute to programming and artists booking.
