I am Jose Mª Farfán Camacho, better known as Mago, the director and one of the founders of WIMEN FESTIVAL, together with Sara Montorio. An amateur jazz musician and percussionist, I have been organizing Jazz, Swing, and Afrofusion events for over a decade.
I decided to embark on this project after witnessing the lack of women in the jazz scene and other genres, especially racialized and immigrant women.
